My buddy at work (also a Bills fan) heard that Kevin Everett might lead the team out onto the field tomorrow night.



The stadium is going to go bananas if that happens.

True, but who knows maybe they will make an exception for him and let him lead the Bills out because of the current circumstances.

hmmm... Unless he's waaay ahead in expectations... I can't imagine that a doctor would be happy about a patient flying from Houston to Buffalo... just to lead teammates out on the field to turn around and fly back the next day (or so). Turbulance (sp?), rough landings.... unneccessary stressors IMO.

Who knows if its true or not, but that would be completely awsome if it is true.

I'll be watching tomorrow night, and if that is in fact the case, I'll give the man a standing ovation.

The last article I read... from the end of September, he was expected to start standing "in a few days" - just to start putting weight on his legs, not even walking yet. (it was posted on the front page)

Let's just say this. There was a guy at Penn that had an almost identical injury and he did lead the team onto the field...a year and a half after the injury.

This kind of rehab is the most grueling of any. TSN, ESPN, CNN, I don't care, he's not leading this team onto the field.

It wasn't TSN who put out the rumour, it was a friend who I work with.

I told him I didn't believe it either but he told me to post it so it would freak some of you out, obviously it did.
