I cant believe Fairchild calls a pass play when he easily could have ran the ball and taken a fieldgoal to make it a two possession game. Instead Edwards throws a int. and Dallas gets a second wind.. HORRIBLE PLAYCALLING!

Too many stupid WR screens early on. Especially after the fake punt. Drive the dagger in or at least try and send one deep.

Fairchild needs to be GONE. This season is already over...instead of turning next year into yet another rebuilding year we need to start making changes now.

This reminds me of Mularkey all too much. Anyone remember him having JP throw in nearly the exact same situation against the Phish? Ugh...this one makes me just as sick. You run the ball there, because the field goal is all you need....and you certainly don't tell you're young QB to try and force something. I wouldn't be surprised if Fairchild neglected to include a checkdown, he has a history of doing so...

It seems to me then when we get to the opponents 40 to 36 yardline we go into self destruct mode and end up without another yard and punt.

I agree about Steve F. But no way is the whole loss on his lay calling alone.... I want Martz or a proven run & shoot style coord to go with our calm & smooth pocket QB...

Ok yer an OC and you realize that your OL is not opening any holes for your RB, so you not think that it would drastically limit your play calling when the D knows a pass is coming? And despite that he still called plays that Edwards was successful with. What game were you all watching. I realize everyone is in a state of shock, myself included. But that doesnt change what our team did today and the plan the coaches had for a tough opponent with backups.

I agree, FAGCHILD needs to go. I kinda wish Romo hadn't choked so bad because we would've got blown out and it wouldn't hurt so bad. What a heartbreaker.

Worst call of the game by far.....Mularkeyesque.

The pass play was not a bad call. That was a risky throw and a good play by the LB to defelect it into Newman's hands.
