No one has ever lost their job to injury....

People lose their starting job(s) because there was a better replacement available to the team. You cannot blame anyone but the original player himself for either a lack of talent or some other short coming.

Facing the reality can be difficult for the player but equally as much for the replacement who may or may not accept what the coaches / management decides (Moulds).

It's makes no sense to hang onto our original project, he's really been replaced by a much better opportunity for the team.

Hey, Kurt Warner and Tom Brady got their jobs as the result of injuries. Look what happened to them.... 4 Super Bowl rings between them.

The QB thing only matters for next year. But then, when you're constantly rebuilding, the current season is always lost, and you're always shooting for next year.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

We almost beat one of the best team in the league and won against the Jets, are we rebuilding or reloading?
