After all that's gone wrong, Dockery found at least one glimmer of hope: "I mean, the only way we can go is up."

Edwards has proven the better quarterback since filling in after Losman hurt his left knee against New England in Week 3. Edwards, the rookie third-round pick, has gone a combined 45-of-61 for 410 yards passing, with a touchdown and two interceptions in two starts. His yards passing alone are more than the 407 yards of offense the Bills (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/team/67039) produced in Losman's first two games.

With Losman ready to return, there's a growing belief Edwards will remain the starter.

Now there's a fine example of man love... Didn't Trent play all but 2 plays vs the Pats? So why include those stats when talking about the 2 games he started?

Nothing against Trent... He's done well. But not well enough to push JP out of the starting spot.

Obviously the author feels Trent needs an advantage.

Or this guy is using his years of experience to point out the obvious.

Then why does he feel the need to use his experience to include 2.9 games worth of stats into 2 starts?

Whocares? It's obvious to everyone outside of Buffalo and to most people in Buffalo (besides the Lickers) that Edwards is the future. Hopefully he is that franchise QB we have been looking for since Jim Kelly. If not then the Bills are in trouble.

:laughter: it's like looking in the mirror, isn't it draz?how many times did the Lickers post partial stats with Lossman?

i disagree.Lossman's 18 possessions have led to EIGHT 3 and outs.Edwards has had 26 possessions with only SEVEN 3 and outs.funny how the denfensive numbers have improved as well.coincidence????

it's obvious that the Lickers can't handle the truth.

Regarless of who starts, I hope they hold down the starting job for years to come by moving the football and putting points on the board. JP, Trent, homeless guy, etc... I don't care!

"I was playing that Madden on Xbox,'' tight end Robert Royal said, recalling the first time he fired up the "Madden NFL 08'' video game last month. "And on the first play, I threw it to myself and I got injured.''

84.9 PR - 11th?
3051 yards - 13th?
7.11 YPA - 11th?
19 TD's - 11th?
4.4% TD's - 13th?

None of those stats are at a 2.9:2 game ratio...

He basically started 3 games. But they have to be pc about it. :cynic:

theres no way you can say JP played as well as trent has, and that is coming from an avid JP supporter. Its simpy being objective. Our O went nowhere with JP at the helm.

They didn't go very far with TE there, either. That's because it's not either QB's doing when we win or lose. It's a team effort.

Why not use this years stats.?

I already did a breakdown on how inflated Losman stats. were last year are due to Evans, Reed, & Parrish taking around 6 TD passes 50+ yards for TD, doing most of the work by themselves. And Price turing a -2 yard pass into 9 yard TD all by himself against the Vikings last year. Everyone knew that this year would be different. Defenses were going to take Evans away from JP and make him adjust. They did and he didn't.

how quickly we forget when the Lickers would only bring up stats, from last year, AFTER the Bye but would always neglect the numbers BEFORE the Bye.besides, those stats you listed are from last year.who cares?

:laughter:

it doesn't favor his argument numbers-wise.i don't know but it's possible that Edwards has a higher Passer Rating than Lossman,or otherwisehe'd be chirping about it.

i seriously doubt that we beat the Jets with Lossman in there.

Right SAB... I should take the results of a 2 game sampling over that of 16 games. If ya'll were so interested in the truth, you'd take facts over hatred.
