    2008 NFL Draft Preview: Mid-Season Rankings-Every Posistion

As some of you may have noticed this year for the first time I attempted to do preseason rankings of each posistion for the 2008 Draft just to keep some of you guys who may not follow the draft as closely as others some names to watch on Saturdays. Well in keeping with that I have redone every ranking and made new lists based on how these guys have played so far. I have also added a DI-AA, DII, and DIII prospect to watch for each posistion except for FB, K, and P. Remember I only rank Seniors, until the official early entries are declared. Re: 2008 NFL Draft Preview: Mid-Season Rankings-Every Posistion

I would like to see us bring in a guy like Hester from LSU and if the Bills could some how pull off a miracle, I'd also like to see us draft Dorsey and Connor. Things would be so titty if we got that lucky.. Hey DraftBoy, who are some good CB's that will most likely be taken in the 2-3rd round?

My personal fav at this time is Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

      Tribble
      Thomas
Jackson could all be ideal pickups

      Bobbie Williams
Trae Williams are names to look for in Day 2

Edit: I just dropped Colt Brennan to 8th overall, I did the QB rankings earlier this week prior to the dump he took v. SJ St, so I dropped him because of it.

Didn't he rebound that game? He ended up throwing for 500+ yards and 5 TD's along with 48 completions and 78 pass attempts, both being WAC records.

He came back against a team they should of destroyed. You dont get just good reviews for putting your team in a position to be embarrassed and then bringing them back. Also if it was not for Bess Hawaii would not have won that game.

Re: 2008 NFL Draft Preview: Mid-Season Rankings-Every Posistion

My dream first day of the draft in 2008 for the Bills so far:

              1. Dorsey
              2. Sweed
              3a. Sharpe
              3b. Titus Brown

I just like all four of those guys' games from what little I've seen of college football this year. (I haven't been keeping up as much as usual.) They fill need positions too.

I know it's still way too early to really think hard about this stuff, but thanks for the list!
Remember Kevin Everett in your thoughts.

i don't like John David Booty I think he is just producing b/c of the talent around him and yet he still isn't producing too well also Alexis Serna is disappointing me with his kickoffs today I don't know how much of a negative to NFL scouts that is but I don't think a team would like to have 2 kickers on a team when all they should need is one....unless the punter can kickoff

JDB is struggling this season bc of the lack of experienced talent around him. Im on the fence about him, I dont see much special in him but he could be a solid starter who isnt asked to win games, just manage the game.

Serna has always been a little weak on the kickoffs but if you get him a FG attempt from within 40 yards its almost a guarantee.

Your not the only one, I struggled to drop Bell that low. I almost ranked him ahead of Ruud, but I absolutely love Ruud's play diagnosing ability and pure heart.

All that being said Wheeler is my favorite OLB prospect however.

Bell can play ILB too.i would say that he could easily be 5th or 6th best at that position too.

Re: 2008 NFL Draft Preview: Mid-Season Rankings-Every Posistion

im not sure i agree with a week by week evaluation.

For example, generally, the QBs who make the best jump from college to the pros are the guys who have over 20 starts at the college level. QBs like JD Booty, simply don't have enough of a body of work to make a good evaluation of them (not to mention he's blessed with the most talented team in college, how that team ever loses is beyond me)

QBs like Woodson, Brohm, Ryan, Brennan or even Henne have a higher chance of being a pro success then Booty.

Brohm, Woodson, Ryan and Brennan are likely the inside picks for the 1st round sellection. Of the four, Woodson stands the biggest chance to be a high round bust (people see him and think "Vince Young", they're wrong. Woodson isn't on the same planet as Young).

I'm of the opinion Brohm and Brennan are the two most nfl ready QBs in college right now. Ryan is interesting, but i've still not seen "it" from him.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                            MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!
