The Cowboys would be 1-4 right now if they had to play in the AFC.

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 03:43 PM
They got Brady.

gr8slayer
10-14-2007, 03:43 PM
They're just waiting for the right time to unleash Moss.

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 03:44 PM
the boys should've had that INT.

I'm sure it's part of the game plan! :D

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 03:52 PM
dang... it's early in the game for Brady to be trying to give the ball away (that's the second one he almost lost).

err....

after that pass to Watson - maybe it's all part of THEIR game plan.

Novacane

What an effing joke

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 03:55 PM
TD by Welker .... geesh I wish he played for a team other than an AFCE team. 14-0. Yep... those 'boys fans (at work) sure must be right.... the NFC is JUST as tough as the AFC.

They can kiss my ass. clowns.

WTF did I just say?

What a joke Dallass is. Could barely beat a weak, injury riddled team last Monday. What do you think would happen when they actually ran into a REAL football team.

Up your wife's ass, Jerry Jones.

Why are'nt you at this game? Don't you have season tickets?

I feel dirty rooting for the Pats....

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 03:58 PM
It's fitting that today's matchup between the Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys takes place at Texas Stadium, where a giant star adorns midfield. It represents the Cowboys logo, but it could stand as the symbol of the wide receiver subplot in the matchup of 5-0 teams, as two of the game's most dynamic and dissected pass-catchers, the Patriots' Randy Moss and the Cowboys' Terrell Owens, share the same stage.

Beyond the gossip mongers twittering about his ties to Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood, Tony Romo was so hot that various NFL coaches, players, and alumni hailed the fledgling Cowboys quarterback as a young Brett Favre, the second coming of Doug Flutie, and - be still, Lone Star hearts - a 21st-century Roger Staubach.

Romomania swept the land of longneck beers and 10-gallon hats, and the faithful swooned when they learned the new face of America's Team wore No. 9 to honor "The Natural," Roy Hobbs, the fictional slugger for whom anything seemed possible.

Then came the improbable: Last Monday in Buffalo, the man of their dreams turned temporarily into a gridiron Elmer Fudd.

I read an article today about TO's impending meltdown if Moss were to outplay him. I've been looking for the article, but haven't been able to find it yet.

Good field position on the return... but it sounds as though they had better start protecting that ball better.

Novacane
10-14-2007, 04:20 PM
Only bad thing about that fumble was Brady didn't break his arm on the play :)

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 04:20 PM

:D

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 04:39 PM
Can I take that post back? I don't want to encourage Dallas.

Cntrygal
10-14-2007, 04:44 PM
He’s been quiet. Too quiet.

You know the storm is coming. It could turn out to be a perfect storm.

Terrell Owens has been close to a model citizen this season with the undefeated Cowboys. And why not? Everything has gone his way. The Cowboys are atop the NFC heap and he no longer has Bill Parcells breathing down his neck. Instead, Wade Phillips is more like his personal cheerleader, applauding his effort and giving him lots of “attaboys.” But nothing lasts forever. And the seeds of change have been planted.

It was a good game. Sometimes it was alittle more nerve wracking than I would have liked, but a good game overall, and a tough win on the road.
