Going for it on 4 and goal when your already dominating the game is just plain disrespectful.

Nah, it wasn't that cocky. They were just taking it to Dallas. Good for them.

Why is it cocky? They have it on the 1 yard line, 4th down. Why kick the FG? sure, it gives you 3 points, but then you have to kick off and they have an explosive return team. If they go for it on 4th and 1 and don't make it, Dallas gets the ball back on their own 1 and has to try to march down the field with no timeouts.

Not a bad play call at all

With 20 seconds and down by 2 possesions. Your crazy.

Not necessarilly, seen some crazy things in this sport.

Is it any worse than when the Colts went for a 2 point conversion on the Pats acouple years ago when they already had the game well in hand against a Pats team that was missing about half its starters?

i've always disagreed with that respect rule. if you're that good and you can keep scoring points, go ahead. sucks for the other team but that's their fault.

So what were they supposed to do instead?

Take a knee?

Dumb post.

No, they should rub it in more to the cowgirls and wade phillips for dissing them during the week, and T.O being cocky saying get your popcorn ready and all the ****...

I don't think it was bad even as much as I hate NE. I hate Dallas equally :D

If Dallas doesn't like the score run up, then stop them.

Yeah, did you see the look on Wade's face as he was rushing off the field. He didn't expect to lose that game, and it didn't look like he was ready for the possibility that he would

I hate both teams, because of last week I hate Dallas more.

Probably the one and only time I will ever say it, but good for NE. I wish they would have gone for an onside and scored another one. **** Dallas.

Yeah, there was nothing wrong with that play there. Their other options would have proven stupid. Kick a field goal or kneel on it which immediately hands the other team the ball. Might as well run it ahead, run some clock, and see what happens.

The only reason they had the chance to score was Dallas taking timeouts at the end. If Dallas doesn't blow through all their timeouts after the 2-minute warning, the clock runs out. As it was, they had to run a play there.

Why did they call Timeout when the game was out of reach, it's almost like they we're asking for more pain.

Not that this was the case here because like the majority of posters I dont think they were going overboard on that last score, but...

The Pats have extra motivation this year (like they needed it) they have been accused of and caught cheating. Its a blemish on an organization that over the past few years has been the pinnacle of the NFL. They are going to punish every team that they face this year and make sure that everyone knows that they damn sure dont need cameras to help them kick ass.

so how many weeks in a row now has it been that theyve done that this year? im sure theyve done it every single game. its one thing to be good, but its another to be so good that u need to show off how good you are alllll game despite the score!

That was NE killing dallas softly. Btw...billy belichek has a chip, and it's not in his mouth. Glad they did it to dallas and jerry jones.

There not cocky, their confident. New England vs Dallas is a very possible scenario as far as Super Bowl match ups go. New England is just telling the little doggy to move over because the big old doggy's movin' in!

Actually, they have sat on the ball at the end of a couple games this year. They could have scored more points late and called off the dogs in other games. As it is, they ran it with their 4th-string runner and wouldn't have scored unless Dallas called their timeouts.

If this was college of high school I'd agree but this is the NFL, all the players are paid and the coaches are big boys.

As someone said, if you don't want to be scored on stop them from scoring.

That fat a s s Phillips has been running up the score all season. Couldn't have happened to a better team. And can we stop already with the Tony Romo is god talk? He was horrible against Buffalo Monday night and wasn't all that impressive yesterday either. Not real tough to put up big numbers in the weak NFC.

They're not going to go 16-0. They'll get upset by a team that nobody in the world gives a chance. Mark November 18th down on your calendars.

i think it was cocky. they could have taken knee. cowboys weren't going to go 99 yards in 20 seconds and get the onside kick and kick a field goal twice in two weeks.

The one time in recent memory that I was happy the Pats won. I have hated the Cowgirls for as long as I have liked football. America's Team my ass.

lol at this thread. Who cares if it's cocky, the best part of the whole game was just knowing that one of them was gonna lose!
