Evans Hoping QB Decision Is Permanent

"That's what really made it tough," said wide receiver Lee Evans. "Neither one of the quarterbacks was playing with too much confidence. Each of them figured if they made a mistake they were getting pulled out with the other one coming in. That's what made it tough."

With a vivid recollection as to how trying things were some Sundays on offense that season Evans would prefer not to go down that path again.

"The most important thing is whichever one they choose to go with just let him play," said Evans. "Just stick with one and let him play."

    What is Evans talking about?

Trent looks like he has confidence to me.

TD I think the players have a bigger grasp on that then we as fans do.

In that quote he's referring to Losman and Holcomb in 2005.

I thought the last sentence was odd..

"If you do that and stay consistent with one then everybody knows what's going on," said Evans. "It kind of is what it is and you have to move on."

Evans is following the path that Moulds had to go through. 4 qb's in 4 years Drew, Kelly, JP and now Trent and 3 coaches so far.

Well we got a smart QB back behind center now, I think we'll see a loaded gameplan, more trust in our QBs ablility and no reigns like JP had. Let's hope...I want to see the big pass to Evans and I'll be happy and fully satisfied.

Evans said it right, there needs to be some continuity. If I didn't know any better Dick is pulling a Mularkey! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

He better stick with Trent then. Hopefully JP will go somewhere where he will be given faith and trust.
Good riddance Fairchild. Of course, the knowledge of your departure will only make TE more hateable than the typical Bills QB. Good luck, hope we don't mess you up like JP.

Seriously though, I can so see us signing a guy like Billy Volek next year and doing the carousel all over again...
