Ranked #18. What was JP's excuse again?

Passing Defense ranked #1.

Overthrowing a wide open Evans for a TD helps Denvers ranking.

The Bills have that tendency to pad other teams stats!

lol. There's your answer BF1. Anymore questions that you have to try and attempt to make JP look bad, please feel free to ask and TDummy will ruin it for you. :snicker:

If they are 1 in pass D, what are they, worst in Run D?

When JP stepped off of the field for the last time.. we were winning. Thats all you can ask of a QB when it comes down to it.

Sorry. I've heard the excuse 100's of times. It's been pounded into my head.

Yep, by almost 20 YPG. Buffalo has moved up to 25th. Woohoo

That's the same argument I tried to use in supporting Rob Johnson in the home run throw up game.

:lmao: That excuse didn't work for Edwards last week. When Trent stepped off the field the Bills were ahead by 8.

He limped off the field. Down 3-0 I believe.

Edwards had 4 qtrs.

EDIT :BF1 is wrong. It was 0-0 when JP left the field but PAts were ready to score 3 due to a fumble recovered by pats.

Pass defense can be a misleading statistic. Teams haven't had to pass against Denver (they're dead last in attempts against) because their offense hasn't been scoring much (27th). In average yards per pass against, Denver is 22nd.
Last year the No. 1 pass defense was the Raiders. Is it because their defense was that good, or because no one had to pass against such a crappy team?

Philagape

Denver is giving up 7.6 yards per pass.

Same as us. And the Rams. And the Falcons. :ill:

Only six teams are worse.

How many of those points did he have a hand in scoring again? 3 our of 24 wasn't it?

Right, after he didn't read the Cb blitz coming and got sacked resulting in him fumbling the ball.

If JP had a decent, get a few first downs, pre-season then the first two game performances against the B brothers and Pitt would be discounted.

Instead, JP's body of work so far this season have been poor so there are no positive indicators.

When JP's "healthy" give him the reins. Otherwise, you will have a divided locker room regardless.

it was the first game of the season and Jauron didnt give the first team Offense enough time in the preseason

It will only be divided if the Bills offense continues to struggle due to bad play from the QB. Then in that case, neither of them will be the answer.

That's what you get when you have the same guy teaching Lynch how to throw a block that taught McGahee how to throw a block.

One thing about the "Lickers" they drill excuses in your head so that you don't forget them. :snicker:

Actually I found this thread very useful. I didn't realize that Denver's ranking was misleading until I looked it up. It can no longer be used as an excuse.

exactly, the blitz Lynch didn't pick up :DIts JP's responsibility to see it just as much. If he sees a Cb vacating his area to blitz then he has to hit the open receiver that the cb was supposed to be covering. Jp didn't have a clue, he was too busy staring down the receiver on the other side.

I'm sorry, i dont care how good your defense is, if your QB is good, he will make plays for you. even arizona beat the steelers with frickin leinart and warner in. im tired of "well he played against a good team" being used as an excuse.

I DONT CARE!

if you want this team to be good, then we have to have a QB that plays GOOD against GOOD teams and not GOOD against BAD teams!

I am not talking about what JP has or hasn't done. You are the one sucking off Edwards for 1 offense drive, and blaming the loss on the D.

I was talking about the Dallas game that TD said was all the Defense's fault for losing. The D scored twice, special teams once, and the offense took home a measley field goal.

Coaches blew that game, a running play on third down and a field goal we would have won that game. Edwards moved the chains and kept the defense rested, Dallas was the better team you let them hang around and don't put up the points they'll catch up.

That's funny, I swore I posted Trents terrible pass for an INT was one of the reason the Bills lost. Nice try.
