After losing yet another game, a 4-0 shutout to the Flyers no less, Thrashers GM Don Waddell has apparently had enough.
Atlanta has fired coach Bob Hartley as the Thrashers are in the midst of their worst start in franchise history (0-6-0). Waddell will take over behind the bench until a replacement is found.
Assistant coach Brad McCrimmon, not Hartley, was running the team's practice Wednesday morning, fueling more speculation that the bench boss was in danger of losing his job.

Possibly the least surprising move ever. You could see this one coming a mile away. They used to play with an edge. I have seen them twice this year, once in person in Atlanta and they laid down in each game.

You gotta wonder how long Waddell is going to keep skating by.

it's the GM that should be fired

a GM that is making one bad trade after another is firing the coach to cover for himself
