This is a huge game for the Bills.
I am hoping the bye week was a time that they could fix some of their mistakes and maybe make some necessary changes.
Here are some keys to the game.
Offense:
Attack their corners - Samari Rolle is decent, but with McCallister out, I see this as an area of weakness.
Take advantage of their agressiveness - I think the Ravens are going to be overly agressive. We need to not sit back and let them dictate the game to us. Take advantage of the situation. Screens, misdirection, take some chances deep
Marshawn Lynch - We need him to be a better blocker, so he can stay in the game on 3rd down. Can he pick up the blitz.
No Turnovers and Keep Possesion - I think Trent has done a good job of sustaining drives. We need to keep this up. Take what the defense gives you. I think they will be playing off of Lee. Hit him with some quick slants.
Playcalling - Play calling needs to be better. Running Marshawn up the gut all game isn't going to work. Mix it up. Keep them guessing. Their D is too smart for our standard conservative calls.
Defense:
Front Four - Their O-line is hurting. Our guys need to get pressure. Hopefully Hargrove will be in better shape after playing a game and having the bye week. We need to control the line of scrimmage. Keep willis in check and pressure Boller.
Blitz - Bring the Corner or Safety blitz every once and while. Cause some Turnovers and pressure Boller. We don't want them sitting back all day running and controlling the clock. Hopefully we cause more turnovers and get more sacks, than them getting any home runs.
Greer - After playing Moss and Owens, Mason should be a piece of cake.
McGahee/Heap - These are Bollers security blankets. Disrupt their routes and stack the line.
I think this is a winnable game. I trust Trent and feel comfortable with him in control. Hopefully the coaches learned from their mistakes in the Dallas game. It seems like the D is playing better. Fewell seemed to realize his mistake at the end of the game.
Go bills!!!
