This is a huge game for the Bills.

I am hoping the bye week was a time that they could fix some of their mistakes and maybe make some necessary changes.

Here are some keys to the game.

Offense:

Attack their corners - Samari Rolle is decent, but with McCallister out, I see this as an area of weakness.

Take advantage of their agressiveness - I think the Ravens are going to be overly agressive. We need to not sit back and let them dictate the game to us. Take advantage of the situation. Screens, misdirection, take some chances deep

Marshawn Lynch - We need him to be a better blocker, so he can stay in the game on 3rd down. Can he pick up the blitz.

No Turnovers and Keep Possesion - I think Trent has done a good job of sustaining drives. We need to keep this up. Take what the defense gives you. I think they will be playing off of Lee. Hit him with some quick slants.

Playcalling - Play calling needs to be better. Running Marshawn up the gut all game isn't going to work. Mix it up. Keep them guessing. Their D is too smart for our standard conservative calls.

Defense:

Front Four - Their O-line is hurting. Our guys need to get pressure. Hopefully Hargrove will be in better shape after playing a game and having the bye week. We need to control the line of scrimmage. Keep willis in check and pressure Boller.

Blitz - Bring the Corner or Safety blitz every once and while. Cause some Turnovers and pressure Boller. We don't want them sitting back all day running and controlling the clock. Hopefully we cause more turnovers and get more sacks, than them getting any home runs.

Greer - After playing Moss and Owens, Mason should be a piece of cake.

McGahee/Heap - These are Bollers security blankets. Disrupt their routes and stack the line.

I think this is a winnable game. I trust Trent and feel comfortable with him in control. Hopefully the coaches learned from their mistakes in the Dallas game. It seems like the D is playing better. Fewell seemed to realize his mistake at the end of the game.

Great post. I honestly think Buffalo needs to take some shots deep early in the game to loosen up that Ravens defense. Playing conservative and close to the vest will play right into Baltimore's game plan. See the Rams Vs. Ravens game last week. This game is very winnable. Call me crazy, but I honestly expect Buffalo to win this game.

Ogden has been recovering from a hyperextended big toe that he initially injured last season and aggravated in the season opener. He has been practicing with the team in recent weeks, but has been unable to play in a game. If he still can't play after the bye (Oct. 28), then the Ravens might consider placing him on injured reserve.

"It's a very legitimate question: 'Jeez, is this going to happen?' Because at some point, if it's not, then we have to consider holding a roster spot," Billick said during his weekly news conference. "But by the way he moves around , I'm fairly optimistic. But he's the only one that can really answer it, and he's working very hard."

The Ravens (4-2) have already decided to start Kyle Boller (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Kyle+Boller?tid=informline) at quarterback this weekend in Buffalo (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Buffalo+Bills?tid=informline) in order to give Steve McNair (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Steve+McNair?tid=informline) another week to rest his injured groin and sore back. Boller started on Sunday in Baltimore's 22-3 win over the St. Louis Rams (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/St.+Louis+Rams?tid=informline).

Billick reiterated that McNair -- when he is healthy -- is the Ravens' starting quarterback; "There is no circumstance that I can think of that we would not have him as our starter," Billick said. The decision to start Boller this week is a practical one, and one that McNair, who first injured his groin in the season opener, agreed with.

"Steve McNair doesn't have to prove to anybody his courage," Billick said. "His whole career has been that. But in talking with Steve . . . the idea of getting a chance to be healthy as we approach not quite midseason is intriguing to him because he has been battling through it. And he's been battling through very well in my opinion. But that competitor does come out, and he recognizes the value in doing this, and he signed off on it."

Defensive end Trevor Pryce (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Trevor+Pryce?tid=informline) is getting closer to returning -- the pins in his surgically repaired broken wrist come out this week -- but he will not play against the Bills (1-4).

But center Mike Flynn (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Mike+Flynn?tid=informline), who missed Sunday's game with an injured knee, could be ready to play this week, as could tight end Todd Heap (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Todd+Heap?tid=informline) (hamstring). The Ravens could also choose to rest both players against Buffalo, hoping the extra time will help them heal completely. Baltimore has a bye following its trip to Buffalo.

"The idea of that is very intriguing to us," Billick said. "But we have other priorities between now and then, and that's to beat Buffalo. But these are decisions that we have to make because you're talking about the health of the players." </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Dick geve them a bunch of time off. You had guys all over the country donig various non-football related activities. Just another reason why we suck so ****ing bad.

When you are 1-4, you don't have the luxury to sit back and take vacations in the middle of the ****ing season. Great move Dick.
