All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

NFL cuts time between picks in draft's first, second rounds
Associated Press
PHILADELPHIA -- The NFL on Tuesday cut from 15 minutes to 10 the time between picks in the first round of its draft after a 2007 record round of 6 hours and 8 minutes.
It also moved the starting time of the draft from noon ET to 3 p.m. and limited the first day to two rounds instead of three.

For everyone that watches ALL of the draft (like me) this is big news. I am going to miss Keyshawn and Kiper trying to kill 15 minutes in between picks with mindless babbling.
I dont like moving it to 3pm start and only have two rounds on Saturday
I agree with you. It seems like they want the beginning of the 2nd round to fall right in primetime for some reason. I don't like it at all. The noon start has always been a good time. I also hate losing the 3rd round on Saturday. sunday is usually a boring draft day.

I try watching the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round...but I start falling asleep. They don't treat those rounds like they do the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Now I bet the 3rd round will become the same way.

I think the NFL should cut the draft down to 5 rounds and have it all in one day starting at 9:00am. RD1 - 10 min , RD2 - 10 min, RD 3/4/5 - 5 min.
It's way too long of a process, especially considering the amount of players who actually make the active roster after the first 4-5 rounds. Also, for the teams that suck ass and are forced to keep their 6-7 RD picks because of a lack of talent, it would put more of an emphasis on scouting and paying your won stars instead of letting them walk into FA. True dynasties can be built again.
