All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Two wins in three games earned Bills rookie quarterback Trent Edwards the starting job, and sent J.P. Losman to a familiar place -- the bench.
Wasn't sure if anyone posted, but wondered what JP's comment was on being named the back-up by Jauron yesterday. I know one thing he's gotta be ticked at:
Should he remain the backup this season, Losman is in jeopardy of missing out on earning a bonus worth more than $3 million, which would kick in if he meets certain statistical criteria, such as starts and yards passing.

It is comforting to know that this most likely has nothing to do with the decision.
In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.

now the truth is coming out. everything is becoming much clearer now.
I agree there. How many times will he lose the starting job is the question. I'll bet he's named and removed at least 2 more times before he's released, whenever that may be(After this year). Though I would love to see Edwards be the man for good from here on out.
JP did that all by himself, regardless of what other people think. If he helped make the team successful, he would gladly get paid.
there are 52 other players on the team, an inept coaching staff who helped contribute to his downfall. you cant say that he did this all by himself. this is a team sport not an individual sport.

Ask NE fans if the QB made a difference to their team? They are probably the best team in the past 8 years and I attribute that to one player.
