good thing. Greer can get ready to jump the outroutes that the Jets seem to insist on throwing.

The league knows how to defense Pennington now. He doesn't have enough tools in his toolbox to pull out something the Bills haven't seen him try and use before (ie. a strong enough arm to thread the needle on a difficult pass that gets to the receiver before a DB can react). As long as a team can get good play out of their CBs Pennington is toast.

sweet . I hope all they do is do that crappy dink and dunk system again. Oh wait.

Let's hope his streak of picks continues!

This is bad. Pennington has proven that he can be a very smart and efficient QB. And although we won't get burnt deep, he has the ability to pick his spots and sustain long drives, especially with a great WR in Coles. Greer better bring his A game against him.

Look at his stats from the Bengals game; spectacular except that final pick.

Anyone that would rather have Pennington start over a untested rookie is off his rocker. This is wrong decision for the Jets in the long term most likely, but Pennington easily gives them the best chance to win a few pride games now.

Did anyone see Chad last week? He was throwing bombs, and it didn't look like he had a noodle arm doing it. They must've lit a fire under his ass.

Yeah, they lost the game anyway, but it wasn't all Chad's doing. That team has a lot of problems to work out. Sound familiar?

and this scares me. It's not even December yet and his pass seem to lose zip after 20 yards. Although it's still better than Holcombs which dies after 5 yards.

I think Pennington is tough to play against because he doesn't seem to make a lot of mistakes, at least not against our D. Yeah, it's all underneath completions, but it seems to get the job done. Hopefully Fewell will be willing to gamble- keep everything in tight and force Pennington to throw outs and bombs to try to beat us.

I think that comment was about Pennington not Edwards.

Look at his stats from the Bengals game; spectacular except that final pick. Take those stats with a grain of salt. The Bengal defense is atrocious. All you need to know about them is that they made Derek Anderson look like an All-Pro.

Every QB has a career day against the Bengals. I personally am not concerned.

It's bad because Chad's playing for his career. That would make anyone step up his game.

sorry, I thought you were talking about Trent. In any case they seem to be the same qb at this point in time.

If he struggles, I really think he will pull Pennington and put in Clemens, so you may see both.

To beat Pennington all you have to do is play 8 guys in the box each and every down and make sure you shut down their run game. He doesn't have the arm to bea you over the top so he has no choie but to dink and dunk his way along the yellow brickroad. Remember we are playing in New Jersey and the fans are kind of split over Pennington is the right QB for them anymore. If we take away his short game, the fans boo when he looks like an idiot making bad throws.

Then ours better not be an exception to that rule.

Although I like Pennington, of recent games, we've done quite well against him.

I'd still rather see Clemens playing, but honestly, either way, we need to find a way to win.
