View Full Version : Why it's too early to think Playoffs are out of the question!

Monday afternoon it looked like the 4-1 Jags were a shoe-in one of the wild card spots and it looked like they had a shot at the division.

By Monday night they were 4-2, looked average and they had a hurt QB.

Today they find out that Garrard is out 3-4 weeks. The schedule over the next 4 weeks,

At TB
At NO
At Tenn
SD

You would have called me crazy on Monday afternoon, but now it's not out of the question that we could both be in the 5-5 range when we play in week 12. Making that a big game with playoff implications.

Call me crazy! But we're 2 seconds away from an ugly 4-2, no reason why we can't win some more games here.

I'm with you that we could win a handful of games and be in the mix like last year (lol), BUT, the Colts make a lot of teams look average. I still worry about the Jags, especially in the middle.

We still have a shot. We need to win on Sunday and I might entertain the insanity with you.

I do this until we are officially eliminated.

0-7 is tough to come back from. Much tougher then 2-4.

It was a joke!

You guys have been playing great, even more so considering the injuries you guys have.

So when does the John Beck era begin?

the response was playing off a joke. Hard to tell without voice inflection. But I understand where you're coming from .

It'll take a miracle but Dicks team usually finishes strong. We did last year and I hope we will. No more injuries please.

The problem we face is that 6 of the remaining 10 games are on the road and one of the 4 home games is against the Patriots.

It is going to be a tough road, but if we can avoid some serious injuries and get the running game going, it is possible to make a run at the playoffs.

That is two big "ifs."

Patrick,  I always have hope, until the Bills are mathematically out of it.

Just imagine if the Bills were 4-2 right now, like they should be.

well they have a golden oppty to be 5-4 in three weeks. the jets and fish are just bad and cincy is a sieve on defense and do not play well in bflo

then after getting crushed by the cheaters theyd have to go 4-2 to make 9-7 (about 35% chance of a wc) or 5-1 to make 10-6 (about 80%)

unlikely but not ridiculously so
