Whatever happened to Martay Jenkins wanting 3 million a season?

He is signing with the Falcons for 1 year at the league minimum. He was turning down million dollar contracts, and instead signed for $450,000?

Yea that is crap, maybe he upset a lot of teams with his demands and then no one wanted him at all.

I don't know, that is a damn good deal for Atlanta when he signs.

Maybe he just really wants to be in Atlanta.

You would really have to love a place to give up millions of dollars to sign a 1 year contract for 450k.

He tried to be greedy and passed up offers at his value. Now he's stuck signing a 1 year deal and trying to get more next year. It was his own stupid fault trying to play that game.

You cant really blame him, you gotta blame the agent. And if this is really his agents fault, then you can consider him gone.

It shocks me that Jenkins call our offer "an insult," then goes and signs for the league minimum... Doesn't really make sense, but, oh, well...

If he took less to be elsewhere, did we really want him anyway?

My guess is he signed a one year offer so he "prove himself" and be marketable next year. To me he is as dumb as rocks for going to Atlanta to prove himself. How much will Vick spread around the football with Price and Finneman there since Vick often elects to run instead of throw on many occasions when he drops back to pass.
Also, Atlanta is in the second toughest division behind the AFC East in regards to defenses. Carolina, NO and Tampa have very good defenses so he won't get a bunch of yards there. Plus Atlanta has a speed receiver in Price already. I am not saying he should of gone to Buffalo but Atlanta is one place he should of of gone. What a schmuck.
