Bills to bring in Gash and Ismail

107.7 WNSA reports that the Bills will bring in both FB Sam Gash and WR Quadry Ismail for interviews. With the release of Larry Centers, I would be in favor of the signing of Gash. Ismail could also provide the deep threat that Buffalo lost when they traded Peerless. Thoughts?

If Gash replaces Centers at FB and with either Campbell or Moore replacing Riemersma at TE, the Bills O would go from pass first to ball control. Qadry Ismail could battle with Shaw for the #3 WR position on the team and the Bills wouldn't have to spend a draft pick on a WR.

Cool Sam is a excellent blocker and can give Drew his old buddy some protection and Henry some good blocks

I'm all for Gash - he only made the probowl in a Bills uniform of all the teams he played for.

How old is Gash? Im wanderin if maybe we should concentrate our efforts on developing Crosby.

Gash would be a great person for Crosby to work with. Centers was good for the pass catch stuff but Gash can teach crosby the ins and outs of blocking.

Gash was an amazing blocker for a running back.

Not only did he knock down LB's he could also pass block VERY well.

Crosby could definately learn from him for 2 years. Plus, I am guessing Gash is a better 4th down back than Crosby.

Also, they are talking about Qadray (Sp?). Not Rocket.

This is the one from Balitmore, not Dallas.

He is not quite as fast, but has better hands.

Quadry most recently played at Indy.

Sam Gash is 33 years old already. He has 12 years NFL experience.

                              1992-1997 New England Patriots
                              1998-1999 Buffalo Bills
                              2000-2002 Baltimore Ravens
                              Career stats:
                              Rushing: 120 attempts, 324 yards, 2.7 avg yd/attm, 2 TDs
                              Receiving: 158 catches, 1264 yards, 8 avg yd/rec, 13 TDs

He's your "good hands" pass catching TE.

I'll take him for a vet min with incentives for a year.
