I thought we saw a little dose of that Beast Mode in the 4th when he ran for a first down with literally 3 guys on his back.

Re: Marshawn
Yeah, I am lovin' Lynch right now! It seems that no matter what crap this team seems to be going through (qb controversy, injuries, etc) Lynch just keeps on doing his job the best he can. His toughness resulted in a lot of first down runs that other backs wouldn't have been able to wrestle out. I will be the first to say that I didn't know much about him when we drafted him, but looking at him now, I think he was a great choice!

Re: Marshawn
It's pretty impressive how much he has done in 7 pro games. He's been a great addition to this team. Listening to that last run as I was on the phone with my Jets fan friend, even he went "Whoa....whoa....wow. He just carried our defense. You got a stud." ROY Candidate at least.

Or the fact his longest run is 23 yards, coincidentally that's also the same as his longest reception.
Does he run hard? Definitely. Does he go down on initial contact? No. But Faulk is definitely something he is not.Last edited by Mr. Pink; 10-29-2007, 03:59 AM.

Re: Marshawn
I like the kid a lot. Plays hard, gives 100% every down, and has the right attitude. Whether or not he has the ability to be a Marshall Faulk/Thurman Thomas-type back remains to be seen. We'll know better about that in a couple of years.YardRat Wall of Fame
