NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 27, 2003 4:36 p.m. EST) - Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams wants to sign coach Jeff Fisher to a contract extension.
"We have talked, and we are in full agreement on what we want to do," Adams said in a statement released Thursday. "When both of us get some time, it will get done."
Fisher has led the Titans to the playoffs in three of the last four seasons and is 80-61 since taking over the then-Houston Oilers in November 1994.
The 44-year-old Fisher led the Titans to the AFC championship twice in the past four years, including last season when he rallied Tennessee from a 1-4 start to an 11-5 record....more (http://www.sportserver.com/football/nfl/story/829802p-5851032c.html)
