Maybe it's just The Answer - but this offensive line is still putrid at times. Sure the pass blocking has improved, but the run blocking is nonexistent for the most part. The Answer is also concerned with the blitz pickup after watching the jets aggressive gameplan against us. The sad part is that we are 7 games into the season and have yet to see a 100 yard game from our RB's.

The Answer also feels that this is a reason we are struggling to score in the redzone - we are having to max protect with the TE's. The Answer also feels that we will need to address the Center position in the offseason because Fowler seems to get manhandled at times.

What is it going to take to send McNally packing? We spent a lot of money on this unit during the offseason but the results on the field are not a reflection of that.

I agree that the OL sucks at run blocking.

As far as blitz pickup, that's a matter of coaching more than execution. We never seem to have enough blockers to pick up the blitz, and when we do they're always on the wrong side.
