TOYOTA TUNDRA – PICKUPS OF THE WEEK

This week, Yahoo! Sports fantasy expert Brad Evans looks at several intriguing fantasy football players likely to be available on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
Solid Buy Judas Priest could rock hard against the Bumbling Bengals

    J.P. Losman (QB) Buffalo Bills
Losman, who trotted in from the bullpen in the third quarter in Week 8 for the injured Trent Edwards, briefly mimicked the same quarterback that averaged over 18.8 fantasy points per game in standard leagues in his last seven '06 games. Against the woeful Jets, Losman directed two noteworthy scoring drives, connecting with main flame Lee Evans on an 85-yard touchdown clincher in the fourth quarter. Bills sources call Edwards' injury a sprained wrist, which clouds his availability this week. If Losman is summoned for full-time duty, he could post outstanding numbers against a detestable Cincy defense that has conceded 249.3 passing yards and 2.5 air strikes per game – equal to the sixth-most fantasy points – to gunslingers since Week 5. Now that Evans has rounded into form, the unbreakable bond he and Losman seemingly have could be on display versus the user-friendly Bengals. If Losman, available in 90 percent of Y! leagues, lines up behind center, anticipate 240-270-yards with 2-3 touchdowns.

Solid Buy Grant hit jackpot in this week's Green Bay RB wheel of fortune

Ryan Grant (RB) Green Bay Packers
Grant, who became the first Packers backer to rush for 100 yards in a game this season, trounced the Broncos for 111 total yards on 25 touches, notching a healthy 4.7 yards per carry. The 6-foot-1, 218-pound undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame ran the ball convincingly in the one-cut Packers zone-blocking system. His laser vision, versatility and robust break-tackle ability was eye-catching. On Tuesday, Mike McCarthy, beaming about the youngster after the game, officially named Grant the starter for the Packers Week 9 clash in KC. However, expect a marginal performance. Kansas City has not allowed an opposing back to score since Week 4 and they've yielded a smallish 91.3 yards per game to rushers in their past three. Insert him into your lineup only as a flex option. Still, injury bitten owners looking to add running back depth should label Grant, available in 99 percent of Y! leagues, an imperative pickup. The Packers have a very favorable fantasy playoff schedule (Weeks 14-17) matched against four defenses (Oak, at StL, at Chi, Det) that each rank in the top-seven in fantasy points allowed to running backs on the season. But keep in mind, Grant's starting job is far from entrenched.
