    Serious Question for the board.

If Marv got a call right now for Trent Edwards what price should he except?
(I know the Trade deadline has passed.)

This goes for all I want to see where you value him....vs
what is good for the team. This is not an anti or pro Edwards
thread. Just where you think his value/worth is.

    go.

Not as retarted as your answer. Even Justa will put more worth then that on him.

He's shown enough to warrant a first.

I agree with that...he has more worth then beck or Quinn...at this moment in time. If you were marv would you take it?

He's played OK so far but hasn't done anything all that impressive. I'd say a 3rd just because that's where they drafted him. No way we'd get a second let alone a first rounder not that this will even happen. Way too early IMO.

Why would Levy want to trade a quarterback who's going to clearly be your starter next year for a price tag of $370 thousand dollars?

His value is nothing. As of right now we have the 32nd and 33rd worst QB's in the league, I wouldn't give a damn thing for either of them.

His value is SKY HIGH, which is why we would NEVER trade him after just one season.

Dont underestimate MONEY guys.............. Again, the dude is only going to have to be paid $370k next year. We would NEVER trade him.

JP on the other hand, is on the books for $6.5 million in base salary (plus whatever his prorated bonus amounted too and that other crap Clumpy is the expert at). HE WILL get traded

He would not...that is not the question.

The question to you pat is how much would it take for a team to pry him away to where you would say marv had to except that. Where is your breaking piont?

Would any of you be upset at lets say a 1 and a 3?

If marv pulled the trigger or would you say no way.

Ok, now you're just trolling. This thread was clearly started just to piss select people off.

No I am being serious...I will tell you why.
For those that thinkT Edwards is overvalued they will post less.
To those who really think is the next Montanna it will take more.
I want to see at what piont the team is more important then the
player. I think a third is too low and A 1 and 3 is to much. I really
want to see what you will except to move on and build a team with
more picks and what would be exceptable to do that. So what would
                            you say Gr8?

I wouldn't even consider trading him at this point, no matter what the offer. Same with Lynch. I think they're both untouchable. This off-season, I may think differently, depending on what happens the rest of the season.
