Pray Losman doesn't get injured....it could be Gilbran ball baby!!!
:scared::pray:

Trent Edwards’ sprained right wrist was still swollen today, and sore enough to where he could not grip a football, or even shake someone’s hand.

Thus, with J.P. Losman slated to start against Cincinnati on Sunday, third-stringer Gibran Hamdan may have to dress as the backup.

“His wrist is very sore today, so we’ll see where it is tomorrow,” said coach Dick Jauron. “It goes day to day in that regard. In terms of where it is on Sunday, able to be our No. 2, we just don’t know yet. If he can, good, and if he can’t, that’s what Gibran is here for.’’

oh man, scary thought.

If Hamden plays, this Edwards/Losman category is going to seem stupid because everyone will just be happy to get him off the field.

Sometimes a little perspective is a good thing.

can you imagine if hamden has the same success as edwards and jp? manageable numbers but nothing to write home about and drive for a field goal and possibly a touchdown.

That would turn the whole controversy on its head. Would people be pissed that edwards and losman are playing to the level of hamden or would people really see how bad the OC is? but if the OC can get a FG and a TD out of Camden, then fairchild actually looks mildly competent.

I thought we brought back Nall after Losman went down. Did we cut him for a second time this season?

a guy told me the other day that Edwards had a hairline fracture in the wrist.i was skeptical because i didn't read it anywhere but i'm starting to think that he's right.how many more injuries is this team going to be riddled with? :sigh:

If JP goes down and Hamden has a decent game like Trent where he can control TOP, the Trent vs. JP will be moot.

Ralphy will tell dick to stick w/ Hamden because he's cheaper than Trent.

I for one cannot wait for the Gamin' Great Gibrin...Gibran? to take the field and take us to a Super Bowl:rockout:

Seriously, he MUST be good if we cut Nall Ball for him!

Let's see how the first half goes this Sunday...Some may end up rooting for Hamden to get into the game.

Well... if the 3rd stringer DOES come in.... at least he'll get some early career experience. :D

Actually, Hamdan has more practical game experience than Nall does. He has played 2 seasons of ball in Europe and led the league in passing. It was certainly not the NFL but it was still much more action and game experience than Nall has seen.

Sure, he has been kicked around a few teams (Miami, Seattle, San Francisco), but that means that they saw enough of him to keep him around for a while. He was exposed to several offensive systems, he is supposed to have a strong arm, and the Bills coaches were reportedly impressed by how quickly he learned the offense.

He is only 26 which is fairly young for a QB and just might have some upside.

At least it was related to the thread and was a comment on the post.
