All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Two years ago? I seem to remember that team having Chris Drury, Danny Briere, Jay McKee, JP Dumont, Mike Grier and Taylor Pyatt.
I'm so bitter at this front office. I stuck up for them throughout the last two offseasons, and this is how I end up being repaid. This team ****ing sucks. I hope they prove me wrong.
remember the ottawa team last year that couldn't win a game early last year, and every said it was because they lost chara? Not saying the sabres have it in them but you never know. Its a long season.

Ottawa lost Chara, Havlat and Smolinski, yes, but they still added Preissing and Corvo to fill Chara's shoes and committed themselves to becoming a tighter team defensively. It worked like a charm, especially considering they still had all that offensive firepower to complement the cohesive defense.
Last I checked, the Sabres don't have Anton Volchenkov or Chris Phillips on the back end, and they don't have the Spezza line, either.

Well then maybe lindy should follow that model, because last i checked Preissing and Corvo are average defensemen. Maybe we need to focus on the defense. Bottomline Ottawa struggled early and pulled themselves together, i don't see why the sabres can do the same thing.

Talent. Last year's Ottawa team was much better all-around than this season's Sabres.

They still lost the Cup-- to a team (Anaheim) that had a longer point streak to start the season than Buffalo did.
