they've been accused of this before, especially since they are one of the few indoor arenas used in the NFL, as well as they have one of the lower attendance marks in the NFL as well in terms of capacity (at 59k)

The answer is no.

CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts telecast was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said. "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."
Patriots president Jonathan Kraft approached NFL vice president of security Milt Ahlerich about the distracting noise after Kraft and his parents, Patriots owners Bob and Myra, left the Patriots locker room following the game. Kraft was angry as he told Ahlerich the league needed to look into the allegation. Ahlerich is the same person who confiscated a videotape made by the Patriots during a game against the New York Jets (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/nyj/) in Week 2 that led to the Spygate controversy.

I don't remember that! Do you know the details?

I thought Green Bay had done it in the past.... or were they the ones that used to put visiting teams in "trailers" because the locker room was "under renovation".

Minnesota's been accused of it before, also.

No.

The Patriots are just crybabies.

Someone forgot to tell them that since a dome is a confined space, more sound echoes and less is lost into the environment, hence, it's louder. Apparently Bellicheck failed 9th grade science.

During the TD years, especially under MM, Clump and I would sit there and look at each other during the game knowing nobody was cheering that loudly.

Actually it was Kraft that whined first.
He is just as classless as Bellichick for ignoring sitting silently as Belicheat stole signals.

I read that the NFL cleared the Colts.

I don't think these accusations are anything new.

A couple years ago, the Steelers accused the Colts (http://kdka.com/topstories/Ed.Bouchette.Colts.2.380404.html) of the same thing.

I'm not sure how anyone could prove it.

If it was a CBS problem, why did Kraft go to complain when he heard the "skipping" noise while at the game?
The Dolts have been doing this for awhile now, it is a violation of the rules, its just a shame that the NFL dismissed it without really looking into it.
It is possible that they didn't want ANOTHER cheating scandal this year, which would really cast doubts on the NFL's credibility.

Afterall, pumping in artificial crowd noise while the opponent's offense is on the field impacts the game that is being played, unlike videotaping signals (which everyone does anyway, from the coaches box) from the sidelines for later use.
