The Answer felt this was a complete game minus the horrible coverage on the kickoff return by the Bengals.

In fact The Answer isn't going to rip Losman either for the INT since that was essentially a punt anyways given the field position and where it was picked by the defender. He played a very solid game and made some very clutch throws.

But lets keep in mind a few things:

1) It was the Bengals, who were 0-3 on the road and 2-5 overall heading in to this game. Let's also factor the ownage against them and the fact they haven't beat us in nearly 20 years. So let's remember this was just another bad team that Losman beat for his 9th career victory as starting QB. But as The Answer already stated - he played a good game in a must win scenario.

2) We have won 3 in a row and 4 of 5, but lets not forget that 3 of 4 wins were against bad teams (2x against the jets) and the Ravens might not be that good of a team either when it's all said and done. Next week is yet another pathetic team we should beat by just showing up in Miami. We are truly going to see what we are made off starting 11/18 against a certain undefeated team.

3) We are still near the bottom of the league in both overall offense and defense, yet should realistically be a 6-2 football team right now. That speaks volumes about the job the corpse has done with this team given the injuries and limited talent in certain positions.

Bottom Line - We appear to be a good football team, but we are going to have to turn it up big time, particularly on offense if we are going to get real hot the next few months and have a chance of beating the likes of JAX, CLE, WAS on the road.

All of a sudden the playoffs are very much in reach - but The Answer asks - are we a contender or pretender? Stay tuned.....
