The Philadelphia Eagles (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=phi) have lost starting strong safety Sean Considine (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7278) to a season-ending shoulder injury, which he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal).

The Eagles placed Considine, a third-year veteran, on injured reserve Wednesday. He started all eight games and had 47 tackles, one interception and a pass defensed.
To replace Considine on the roster, Philadelphia elevated rookie safety Marcus Paschal from its practice squad. It is not yet certain who will replace Considine in the starting lineup. Quintin Mikell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6657), who started at free safety while Brian Dawkins (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=3558) recovered from a neck injury, is a possibility.

Lots of teams that we are playing in the near future are losing players, paving a road for the Bills to roll.
