We hear that we really stink because our defense is ranked low and we only beat Baltimore, Jets, Jets and Cincy.

The funny thing, is that at 5-3, some people here think that it’ll be impossible to catch Cleveland who are surely heading to the playoffs.

Closer look:

Bottom ranked defense

Wins over Baltimore, Cincy, Miami 0-8, St. Louis 0-8 and Seattle 4-4.

Way more impressive then what we’ve done!

Like us they have losses to Pitts and NE. Plus a lose to OAKLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After they lose to Pittsburgh this week and we beat Miami, we’ll both be at 5-4.

who do they play the rest of the way?

Out of 8 remaining games, we play 5 teams with .500 or better records: NE, New Jersey A, Cleveland, Jax, Washington.

We could be tied with 7 to go and we play them.

we are 4-4 in a very watered down and level league...we could go 7-1 the rest of the way or 2-6.

of course Skins fans are probably looking at us going "they beat the Jets twice, Baltimore and Cincy- ooooh, lookout!"

I'm not saying the games aren't winnable- I'm just saying the schedule's against teams that have been playing at least fairly well.

Our defense, as "terrible" as they may be, are currently ranked 12th in the league in points allowed.

Exactly! My point is that you can look into just about everyone's schedule. Check out what the Giants did.

Fact is, you can only play who's in front of you. And good teams should win games against bad teams. That's what we're doing.

But you can't discount our wins (not you, everybody) but act like Cleveland, Wash and NYG will be heavily favored against us because they all have 5 wins, playing probably worse teams then we have played.

I like the Bills schedule for the second half of the season. There are enough AFC games against potential playoff teams to make or break the season. I'd like to see the Bills earn a playoff birth, not coast into the playoffs against cupcake teams. Those games against Jax and Clev are gonna be big games on the road. I want to see them step up.

I always loved our 2nd half on schedule always thought that will make or break the season tons of winnable games

Usually DJ has us finishing strong so it's nice to see potentially a much easier schedule in the 2nd half. We still need to win all the games that we should win, starting with Miami.
