    Evans happy he backed Losman

You have to admit these two have a special chemistry.
Here's hoping they score some points on Sunday.

Lee Evans spent the early part of this season catching flack rather than footballs.

Mired in a slump that saw him haul in just five passes in three games, the Bills star wide receiver became the target of criticism when he took the unpopular position of publicly lobbying for J.P. Losman to regain his starting quarterback job from rookie Trent Edwards.
"I know that I probably riled a few people, particularly since my teammates and I weren't performing at the level we had last year," Evans was saying the other day. "Some people probably wanted me to keep my mouth shut, but I was just voicing what I believed in. Nothing against Trent. I just felt J.P., with his experience and arm strength, gave us a better chance to be successful."

Evans' skills as a fast, big play receiver certainly match up better with JP's long ball ability. I think the Evans-Losman combination gives us the best chance of winning.

I hope they're together in Buffalo a long time, although I think the coaching staff will look for any excuse to sit JP and reinsert Edwards as the starter.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Namely, TE being healthy enough to actually start.

Evans is our only super-star. As long as he's happy we have a chance in every game.

Exactly my fear. JP can lose his job to injury, but TE can't.

When JP went out of favor on this board, didn't the fans here want Evans to STFU?

They'll score points. The Dolphins suck. Here's hoping they can actually score some points against a real defense in 2 weeks.

Not I. I see nothing wrong with a guy who is tired of losing. We need more people like him in our franchise.

Some did... But there were some of us who were glad he spoke up.

My undying man-love for JP had never subsided.

I have one message now that he has his wish. STFU!!!!!

JP is one bad game from seeing the bench again so what happens when Trent is throwing him the ball? Is he going to half-ass it?

I'm really disappointed in Evans as I thought he was a much better character guy than this.

I still think Evans should STFU. If he wants to make the decision about who's starting and who isn't he should turn in his helmet for a headset. Otherwise, zip it and do the job you're getting paid for.

Evans was right and kudos to him for speaking up. He is our leader on offense and him and Losman really help give this team an identity.

I lose respect for a player when they bring the politics of the locker room to the media.
