Aren't we getting loaded up at LB next year once POZ is back healthy? RG, RT, WR, TE, DE in any particular order would be nice.

given the senario and the picks ahead of us, we didd allright in that draft.
myself I'd be all over Limas Swede, Deshawn Jackson( mcgee is becoming tooo valuable at CB to risk injury on ST) or Adarius Bowman.in any order.

Not a bad pick at all, Doucet though may be the better option

This draft is off though with both Henderson, Wheeler, and Highsmith going in Rd 1 which isnt likely to happen at this point. Slaton is going way too high at 12 to a team which has big money at RB in James. I also dont see Thomas as a first round CB at this point though he is close.

It's never too early to talk about next year's draft!

You think the Jets would take a look at Brohm?

No way not with Clemens yet to get any real time

Yeah, Clemens is supposed to be Chad's successor. They are unlikely to draft a 1st rd QB - especially with McFadden likely available to them...

Why would the Jets draft McFadden with alread having Thomas Jones?

Why would the Jets draft McFadden with alread having Thomas Jones?

Jones isnt a spring chicken, and aside from that the 2 back offense is becoming a common trend in today's NFL. Atlanta, Jacksonville, New England, Dallas, NYG, Washington, San Diego, and many others all have two good backs to rely on.

Why would the Jets draft McFadden with alread having Thomas Jones?

For the same reason Minnesota drafted Adrian Peterson despite having Chester Taylor!!!

I'm a little surprosed that they didn't have us taking CB Mike from S Florida whose ranked by most one of the better CBs in the draft. At the same time think passing on Adarius Bowman would be foolish as gives us needed size at WR and an eventual replacement if Evans chooses to move on as don't predict JP our QB of the long term future.

CB Mike Jenkins
That's indeed the Mike I meant.

I gotcha back, good prospect too, he and Trae Williams, Williams is a little more overlooked and Matt Grothe gets all the attention in S. Florida, but their DB's are some of the best in the country without a doubt!

****, I hope the Jets pass on Mcfadden.
