But TRENT has the best chance to get better and SURPASS JP eventually. JP did what he had to do against horrible teams, but I think thats all well and good but we know what JP gives us, it's time for us to live and die with Trent and so be it. It's not like we're going to make the playoffs, and if we do, we aint goin far. But I think we have better chances with Edwards being our QB if we do end up in the playoffs than JP.

I don't think Trent sucks. His numbers don't look good right now but he's done enough good things (moving the chains and winning) to keep him out of the "suck" category for now.

I dont think Trent sucks at all.
He's only had a few starts in this league. The 5 INT's are at least a little misleading. He's completing 2/3 of his passes and in EVERY game he's played the offense has controlled the clock.
With a little better execution and playcalling in the red zone I think he's going to be a fine QB, and certainly a hell of a lot smarter.Comment

JP probably buried himself after today. He looked bad.
Edwards hasn't shown me much. He was OK in the first Jets win and not OK every other game. I don't see the attraction at all.

You guys are crazy if you don't think Trent gives us the best chance to win.
This isn't a debate about letting the rookie develop. The debate is who gives us the best chance to win right now. The answer is Trent Edwards. The offense plays better as a group when he is out there.
