Bills extend winning streak to four, edge Dolphins

Expert recap and game analysis of the Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins NFL game from November 11, 2007 on ESPN.

The Bills were less than impressive in this win, failing to mount an effective ground or air attack for most of the game against an invigorated Dolphins defense. Miami defensive coordinator Dom Capers did a nice job of mixing 3-4 and 4-3 fronts, along with zone run blitzes, to keep Buffalo running back Marshawn Lynch under control. The Dolphins controlled time of possession with zone blocking schemes that wore down the Bills’ undersized 4-3 front, and running back Jesse Chatman picked up nice chunks of yards on inside power plays and off-tackle bounce schemes. Still, Buffalo quarterback J.P. Losman made some timely throws to set up PK Rian Lindell for the game-winning field goal.
