Thanks guys,

EM Bills Fan 80 the program costs like 570 bucks or so new. I got a used one for 250. People buy it then realize they are not interested in it. There are soooooo many things in there I have no idea what they do yet. Learning how to "step backward" which is removing something you just did without starting over was my greatest accomplishment so far :laughter:

i got a book on it.. but i cant read it for more than 2 minutes.. then i am ready to surf the internet again..

All I can say to you guys or anyone else interested in graphics is to stick with it - Photoshop is VERY daunting at first, but the more you use it, it becomes second nature and is really pretty intuitive.

My personal favorite PS book is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0321115635/qid=1048965840/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_2/002-9378412-7374422?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

A lot of the PS books just teach you 'tricks' to make very specific effects, that may or may not ever come in handy. The Ben Willmore book really teaches you the stuff you need to know, and is very easy to get through - I know what you mean T about reading for 2 minutes and stopping, but the way this guy writes, he makes it interesting.

YOu could probably save yourself a few bucks by getting an older version of the book used, the 5.0 or 6.0 version (I have the 5.0) - I would guess that 90-95% of the 7.0 book is covered in the older versions, with updates made for new PS features.

And there are a TON of tutorials on the web for almost anything you can imagine, which is another good way to learn and familiarize yourself with the program more.

Here's some good tutorial sites:

www.bluesfear.com, www.photoshopcafe.com, there's too many to count.

Thanks :D one thing I was unhappy about in my first project was seams, I wanted a seamless flow between my pics. I will read the tut's and see if I can learn something :D

Thanks everyone for your support
