I'm going to bet from that data that there is no statistical difference between the two QB.

Although the stats seem to favor JP, it's nice knowing we have a rookie who is playing almost as well as an established veteran. But it's not time yet for a permanent QB change, they need to stick with JP for the mean time.

but that similarity shows why JP will not get the expensive extention.

Rookie vs. Vet

I'll take the rookie. Upside is meaningless when combined with permanent inconsistency.

How long do we have to wait for JP to get it right.

Ditka was on the radio this AM and he was saying that the reason he didn't wait in Chicago to make changes was he knew that there were guys he was never going to win with. That's why McMahon got the early nod.

Losman isn't going to be any better than what he is right now. The stats could be identical and what it doesn't show is a rookie who looks comfortable in the pocket and avoids the pass rush vs. a 4 year vet who is still struggling to operate our offense.

And I agree, so he needs to pull his head out of his ass...soon. The NE game may be his last opportunity.
