Fox has us @ #11!!

11 Bills 16 (+5) 11/31 It was by no means pretty, but Bills fans will take Sunday's 13-10 victory over the Dolphins any day of the week. Buffalo struggled on offense, as the Bills had just 219 yards of total offense — but got just enough when it mattered to improve to 5-4 on the season. The win was the Bills' fourth straight, and put them right in the AFC Wild Card picture. Notching a fifth straight win this weekend could be difficult; the Bills host the 9-0 Patriots.

Interesting note: We are mentioned in NE #1 "New England spent the week preparing for the red-hot Bills." I like that Red-hot Bills statement!! http://75.126.198.215/tsw/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif

ESPN has us @ #15- The worse of the 5-4 teams http://75.126.198.215/tsw/style_emoticons/default/thumbdown.gif

15 (18) Bills 5-4-0 Of the Bills' five wins this season, four have come despite scoring less than 20 points. That doesn't exactly inspire much confidence going against Sunday night's opponent -- the Patriots. Say goodbye to that winning streak.

Losman is self destructively arrogant:rofl:, I couldn't agree more. That is the one thing that I see in him that has turned me off to him. Bledsoe was the same way. Everyone thought he was a stand up guy but he hurt the team with his selfish hardheadedness standing in the pocket taking sacks all of the time looking for that longball.

Arrogant?

I hope he means in a football sense. Cleaning up blighted neighborhoods doesn't strike me as the actions of an arrogant person.

This is completely off-topic BUT I've said this since before he was drafted...Pat will back me on this too. I've also stated it on this very board...from the muddled middle...

"Reggie Bush (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7751/;_ylt=AvlgC730ZG2pYjwIZoDOmFAZc9AF) is averaging a combined 4.3 yards per touch rushing and receiving. He's a poor man's Eric Metcalf."

I had to toot my own horn a little there

I find it hard to believe that Jason Cole has Cleveland 6th though.

Say what you will about him as a player, but it should be obvious to anyone who researches the topic for a few minutes that JP is a good guy. I'm pretty sure Cole used to be a beat reporter for....the Miami Herald, so that could lead to an unwillingness to use recent truth over past (unfounded) rumor where a team like the Bills is concerned, on top of the fact next to one actually cares about us
.

I can't get in Losman's head, so I don't know that he is "destructively arrogant." I know that at times he has difficulty making himself check down to short receivers when the deep guy is not there. Whether he has made a conscious decision not to check down because he thinks he can evade pass rushers until his receivers get open, I can't say, though I rather doubt it. I think I'd rather just say sometimes he lacks the will/ability/whatever to check down when he really should. Whether or not he is likely to gain that ability is a coach's call. If Jauron thinks he won't, then Jauron should probably pull the trigger and let Edwards get the experience he needs because a JP Losman who won't check down will eventually lead the Bills into a trainwreck. If Jauron thinks Losman can learn and minimize his deficiencies in that area, then stick with him. Ultimately Jauron's coaching tenure with the Bills may hinge on his ability to get make the right call on Losman versus Edwards.

The raiders / rams both suck either way, they are interchangeable.
