Coach says that he's "not optimistic" and already has game planned for Wright and Jackson to play.

Maybe Dick is giving Bellichick a taste of his own dishonest injury report medicine.

BAM
11-14-2007, 01:43 PM
Yeah he just said they're not overly optimistic about it and it's very sore.

We have a lot of confidence in our players, blah blah blah.

Yeah, I heard from my buddy he wasn't playing yesterday.

Well he hasn't been officially listed as "OUT" but it doesn't look good.

Typical Buffalo. Whenever one of our teams starts rolling, a key player goes down. Without Lynch, this is probably going to be a bloodbath. I just hope he's OK for Jacksonville.

Man, this team has been destroyed bu injuries this year. I don't ever remember a team this riddled with injuries.

Did you see Jauron's body language when he was talking about Lynch? Avoiding eye contact, shifting, scratching his head... This is a total bluff. Call me crazy, but I bet Lynch will not only play, but they have big plans for him in this game.

Well, bright side of Lynch being out, JP will show us what he is/isn't made of (I feel like I've said this 500 times by now)

Dick Jauron is pretty much a striaght shooter and I don't think hiding a player is a useful tactic against a team like NE. You could be right, but I really have my doubts.

DIdnt say he was out, but he said he's "very sore" and he's "not optimistic" he's going to play.

In other words----- He is not going to play.. unreal.

WELL, lets see what JP is made of-- or is this going to be excuse number one million if Losman sucks

Never a better time for JP and the O to step it up!

DJ is a straight shooter so I doubt he's bluffing.

Without taking anything away from Wright, I think Jackson can really do some damage in this league if given the chance to gain momentum.

raphael120
11-14-2007, 02:09 PM
Well I've always wanted to see what Jackson and Wright can do on the field. No better chance to see that with this meaningless beat down game with the Pats.

Mr. Pink

Hopefully this isn't a high ankle sprain...or else Lynch might be out a month.

Not hearing anything about the injury makes me a little weary to the extent of the injury.

Ok, perhaps "bluffing" is too strong a term. But we're fighting Goliath here - would it hurt to use a bit of gamesmanship against bad boy Billl?

they just said Lynch is worse today than he was Monday, and it could be a while before he's better

I would say JP, Lynch, Edwards are all hurt. That way BB has to prepare for Hamden, goodluck with that.

There's a chance the catalyst for Buffalo's offense won't be available for the Bills' biggest game of the season. Marshawn Lynchhttp://www.buffalobills.com/images/relatedicon.gif (http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=5558#) did not practice with his Bills teammates Wednesday putting his status for Sunday night's game against the undefeated New England Patriots in doubt. "It's very sore right now," said head coach Dick Jauronhttp://www.buffalobills.com/images/relatedicon.gif (http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=5558#). "I would say we're not overly optimistic. We'll just kind of go through the week and see what happens, but we're not optimistic about it."

Maybe he could just run QB draws and bootlegs all night.

Or make Moorman a RB! :boozer:

Since
A. We were likely to lose anyways
and
B. Lynch would likely take a beating in the process with his 28 carries

This could be a blessing in disguise for the games that matter most (everything after this one.)

I'd much rather sit Lynch and have him be %100 for the Jags, than be 50-50 for both games. This could be what the coaches are thinking too.

This isn't going to be a popular post but it's pretty spot on. Maybe by doing so it completely concedes the game, in a game we likely weren't going to win anyways. But it could be helpful in the remainder of our schedule having Marshawn at 100% with a full week rest as opposed to 3 weeks of 60% 75% 90% or whatever.

The point does make sense to me.

Me 2.

The only thing I'm pissed about is the Losman Lickers are going to use this as an excuse, when there IS NO EXCUSE.

Every once in a while, a GOOD quarterback has to actually throw the offense on his OWN SHOULDERS and make the plays to win the game, even if your RB is out and even if God forbid, Evans gets double teamed everyplay.

Indeed. What a win it would be if we could do it without Lynch as well.

No excuses for JP..Pat shut the hell up, im tired of this oh JP doesnt have lynch, JP fans will just use this an excuse..the funny thing is, you're probably an edwards fan, and only roots for edwards..you see, people who root for JP, root for the bills aswell..get over yourself, dont post JP lickers will use this an excuse so you can come back and make yourself look right..thats pathetic.

I know that Dick is a straight shooter but he chose his words carefully. It is only Wed. and Lynch has 3 more full days and Sunday to improve. If it is not a high ankle spain and there is no damage, he can play through a little pain.
Someone said it was worse today than Monday, Where is the link on that?

Do you think Belidick really cares if the Buffalo Bills has their best RB in there? I don't.
