If DJ become Tricky Dick, then yes. We do need the pats to have a shifting target.

I wouldnt rush your best player back from an injury, especially one where the odds are so stacked up against you even WITH him. I'd rather take Marshawn for the rest of the season sitting this game out, than him being rushed back and him hurting himself even further and not being available against the opponents we need to win and have a decent shot at beating.

If he is ready, he plays.

I definitely think he's going to play.

As Rich Eisen likes to say, "THAT CAGEY DICK JAURON!"

I honestly can see him in the lineup against the Pats. After seeing Jauron's pokerface regarding the injury on the podium, well it looks like he is just trying to throw the Pats off a bit.

Sorry guys, it's not looking good:

“I would say we’re not overly optimistic,” coach Dick Jauron said this afternoon when asked about the chances of Lynch recovering from his sprained ankle in time to play. “It’s very sore right now, so we’ll go through the week and see what happens.’’

Lynch did not practice today and was unavailable for comment.

No.

It's would be pointless to play him and risk losing him even longer to injury. We are going to lose this game either way so might as well get him healthy for the stretch run.

He better be at 100% or else this is a horrible coaching decision.

I won't count him out until game time. He's a warrior

look at how many times Travis played and still performed while banged up (no pun intended)

But Travis was smoking the ghanja, so he didn't feel much.

I agree with Philagape, he's a warrior, and we need him this game.
He'll play, he won't get as many carry's as usual, we'll rotate the RB's.
But he'll BEAST UP, tape it up, and rip it up!

This is the biggest game so far in his early career. I think he'll do everything possible to get into the game.

He's not playing. He'll be lucky to be playing in 3 weeks.

If his ankle is sprained as badly as it sounds, then even if he tried playing, there's no way he'd be as effective as normal. I don't have any doubts that Marshawn is the type of player to try and battle through any pain, but that doesn't mean he'd neccessarily be better then a fully healthy Wright.

I don't see Marshawn playing this week, and even if he did, I don't see him being the same player, which really sucks. What a downer for such a huge game.

All he can really do at this point is rest it and give it time to heal, which he doesn't really have.

Whomever is back there needs to run as hard as Lynch has this year.
