With a sixth straight sellout (not to mention a national TV audience) confirmed for Sunday night, the Buffalo Bills (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/results.html?Ntk=All&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Ntt=%22Buffalo%20Bills%22) have plenty of available seats for the final two home games.

The team, preparing to host the undefeated New England Patriots (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/results.html?Ntk=All&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Ntt=%22New%20England%20Patriots%22), said Wednesday that about 4,000 tickets remain for the Miami Dolphins (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/results.html?Ntk=All&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Ntt=%22Miami%20Dolphins%22) game, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 9 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. There also some 5,000 tickets unsold for the Dec. 23 game versus the New York Giants (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/results.html?Ntk=All&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Ntt=%22New%20York%20Giants%22).

Tickets are priced between $38 and $70 per seat.

The Giants game on Sunday Dec. 23rd has a excellent chance of getting moved to 8:15.

Plenty as in plenty of rafter seats in the corners or spotty singles or doubles scattered around. Bills ought to learn from this and sell tickets on sliding scale - tickets earlier in season cost more and tickets later in season cost less.

I thought our 4 game winning streak would have boosted ticket sales for the 2 December games. But I guess December games in Buffalo are a hard sell.

Since gate revenue is split, that idea would never fly.

Normally the Phin's games are almost guaranteed to sellout, but with them sucking as bad as they are...

The Giants game has no excuses. That should be a s.o.

Lots of people travel around Christmas which is why Christmas time games have trouble selling out. If not for networks they ought to move season up a week, give all teams an extra week off before playoffs and do something else that weekend like "Christmas with the NFL stars".

New move the game hurts as well since many people need to schedule days off ahead of time. would need to make extra arrangements if game if moved like extra nights in hotel, having to work next day (yes some need to work Christmas eve), childcare, etc.

They actually did. If you checked a month ago, there were at least 10-15,000 tickets still left for each of those 2 games. Now that they are down to only 4 or 5 thousand, i have no doubt that they will sell out and we will have sold out the whole season this year.
