    PHOENIX - From the hotel's halls to its courtyard, from its tennis courts to its golf course, one of the most hotly debated topics at this year's NFL owners meetings is how quarterback Jake Plummer will fare with the Denver Broncos.
    Some expect Plummer to bust out; others expect him to go bust.
    But no one - not even Plummer's coach with the Arizona Cardinals - knows for sure.

    Quarterback Jake Plummer joined his new teammates on Monday, running and lifting weights at the opening of the Denver Broncos' off-season strength and conditioning program.

    Plummer was among 38 Broncos who took part in the morning workout, which included sessions with a yoga instructor.

    "It went well, but it's not done yet," Plummer said. "I've still got to go upstairs for a couple of hours and get into the playbook."

    Plummer, the former Arizona Cardinals quarterback who signed a six-year, $40 million free-agent deal with the Broncos last month, hoped to make a quick adjustment.
