It's time to clear our heads of the recent past now

We blew a 8 point lead in 20 seconds to the cowboys, everyone got it?? Great.

Denver made a last second kick to beat us, everyone got it?? Great.

NE beat us at their house and pittsburgh beat us at their house, got it?? Great.

These are our 4 losses. 3 of the best teams in the league and Denver. So how do we look at this??

I say that we didn't win 5 games against weaker opponents, we we're the better team. Better teams find ways to beat weaker teams, so we we're the better team versus 5 of our opponents and weaker at that moment against 4 of them. So to say that other teams suck that we beat is just not true because 2 of the teams that beat us should of lost but didn't. Does that mean that Dallas sucks because they barely beat a weak team and should of lost?? You can't say that, nor can you say that we suck because we barely beat weaker opponents. It's not relavent, nor does it matter.

All that matters is that you won, by 1 point or 40 it's still a win. Clear your mind and realize that Indy showed us the blueprint to beat the Pats, we just need to follow it. We play a similiar D & we have very aggressive backfield that shows receivers no mercy. I mean your injured type hits coming up for Moss and crew, they'll be catching dead balls. Just mark my words on it.

"I don't care if they look good or not," said Whitner. "I just want to win them. When you look at our record it's not going to say how we won it, how we did it, how many yards they rushed for or anything like that. It's a win and that's all that matters."

    BRAVO, WHITNER.

You might note that the other half of that blueprint has Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Joseph Addai and Dallas Clark on it. I realize the Bills play a similar style of defense to Indy, but you do realize you are going to have to score some points as well, right?

Maybe our Special Teams will be able to help in that department. We've had success over the years against New England with our special teams unit.

        That's about it though. lol

Looking at NE offense against Indy, Moss looked like the only real threat during that game. Brady didn't have Brady like numbers and he had 2 INT's as well. The Bills fans are going to be louder than Indy's fans and our backfield puts people on the ambulance or makes them leave the field hearing BIG footsteps. Moss is going to try that jump catch BS and McGee is going to break 2 of his ribs, he won't be running then. Pain is going to be inflicted and Brady is going to be seeing red, a mix of his own blood and schobel's jersey.

"I'm juiced," Fewell said with excitement. "This is what you coach for. ... They've got a group of play-makers and we are a group that loves to play football. And we're going to try to hit them in the mouth."

Skooby, who is this "we"? You do realize we don't coach or play for this team, right?

What do you mean? I think at least three of the Bills players post on here...
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

You are WRONG! We are the 12th man baby! Our name is already on the wall with Kelly, Thomas, Reed, SMith, etc, etc.

                    Go Bills!
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

the way I look at it is this...our coaching has been pretty darn good. We've won all the games we had a good shot at or were supposed to win. We've come close to winning a game against a much better team. It's frustrating to be close but at some point you have to recognize that being close is a big accomplishment in and of itself.

So, my confidence in the coaching staff is growing. There is a ton of room for improvement both on the developmental and personel sides. There is work to be done in the offseason. This team is headed in the right direction. As far as beating NE, you draft and develop around the idea of beating the teams in your division. No question NE is the best team we've ever seen at this point. I've still gotta throw some love to the coaching staff and think if we get a few lucky breaks, make some big plays and don't blow it we can beat this team. I'm sure of it.

We should have beat Denver. We're nowhere near the level of the other three.
