If Buffalo does hope to derail the Patriots Express, Crowell will have to be at the top of his game. The fifth-year linebacker from Virginia has 78 tackles this season, fifth in the NFL according to the stats kept by nfl.com.

But tackles alone aren’t what drive Crowell. He’s set a minimum of one big play a game, be it an interception, sack or forced fumble.

“I was on roll, I think it was four straight (games with a big play), but against Miami I didn’t get one,” he said. “So I definitely need to get two this week.”
