Watching Moss this season makes it perfectly clear he took the last couple years off. There is no way a kid with this much ability could ever be as bad as he was without mailing it in.

I love what Moss is doing this year, but anyone who doesn't recognize that Moss quit on Oakland is fooling themselves.

He may have had no QB and was playing in an offense that was antiquated, but he also was disgruntled and quit. The fact is, Ronald Curry caught more passes for more yards in the same offense and he was coming off achilles surgery.

However, he has rehabilitated his reputation in NE. He has been a consumate pro and hasn't taken a play off all year. I could be he just needed the right situation, or just the maturity that comes with age, but nobody can criticize him this season.
