If the NFL would have wanted to really punish them fairly for intent to cheat they should have made them forfeit their game to the Jests. That would have really loomed large by now as a HUGE punishment and it would have been fairly justified.

you mean they shouldn't get credit for a win because they cheated? Come on- why would the NFL force a punishment on the Patriots that actually fits the crime? The idea is to give the APPEARANCE of punishing them without actually hurting them or their image.

They are not going undefeated. It won't be necessary to take a game away from them or asterisk their season.

Patsies are the most prolific football team in NFL history...oh wait, they were caught blatantly cheating....NOT. Bellichick can run up the score all year long to try to prove he didn't need to cheat and that will still follow them everywhere they go like a bad case of herpes.;)

The only way the Patsies lose this year is if Brady gets hurt.

Better yet, follow it up with the NCAA treatment: banned from the playoffs.

Hey, you know what? That would've given Buffalo the division title.

The Steelers are overrated - you don't lose to teams like the jets, cards and broncos if you are the real deal. They are the exact type of team as the 2006 Ravens. #1 defense and will finish with 12/13 wins and get bounced in their first playoff game.

Pats will roll over them in a few weeks just as they have done to everybody else.

They should have at least lost BOTH 1st rounders. They lost theirs, which is like a 2nd rounder. But they still own the top 5 first rounder from the 49ers. :ill:

Actually, right now it would be the second overall pick.

Bellichick probably doesn't even need his usual Viagara to get a boner everytime he thinks of that game coming up. That should funny to watch.:snicker:

don't be surprised to put up a slightly better fight with kellen playing QB, since he can throw the ball faster than a beachball

Every team steals signs, you're allowed to steal signs.Pats just did it in a way that's against league policy. You're allowed to steal signs,it's part of the game, always will be,but you can only do it a certain way. Pats did it with a camera, while other teams use there eyes, but you're still doing and seeing the same thing, stealing signs..

You honestly think that nobody on the bills team(players/coaches) are stealing signs when the other teams defense is giving them out?? You think the bills are all turning there heads.Every team does it

What else are the Pats doing that the rest of the league isn't?

How is it that we have yet to see the usual decline in performance from Brady now that he's hit 30?

Why did the NFL do nothing when the Patriots simply renegotiated Belichick's contract right after being fined?

Why does New England still have a top-5 draft pick despite supposedly having to forfeit that pick?

How do you explain every high-profile wide receiver going straight to New England this past season?

How do you explain the Buffalo-New England game moved to prime time?

How do you explain 2006, when the referees called all of 4 penalties against NE over the course of both BUF-NE games combined?

How do you explain the fact that the Patriots have been able to face the same exact team (Buffalo) coming off their bye week 4 straight years in a row?

How can you explain all of this happening IN THE SAME TIME FRAME???

You can't.

This was addressed when Goodell originally handed out the punishment. The camera was taken in the first part of the first quarter. It had no effect on that game.

It's shouldn't be a matter of the results of it all, it should be more aimed at the Patsies intentions no matter what the outcome. Cheating is cheating, whether they did it for a quarter or a whole game.
