While he was the team Captain of the Packers, he became the first NFL player to hire an agent. Vince Lombardi was so pissed, he traded him to Philly.

RIP Jim. I met him many a time at Bills functions. A great gentleman.. who couldn't coach worth a damn.

Jim Ringo. Hall of Fame centerman, former Bills head coach, and oddly enough...

...Jim Ringo and QB Bart Starr led the Packers to two NFL championships in 1961 and 1962. At about the same time, English drummer Ritchie Starkey was playing for a rockabilly band called the "Raving Texans," the leader of which dubbed Mr. Starkey as...

            ...Ringo Starr.

Yes, Mr. Ringo, your legacy lives on, in a most peculiar way.

A great player, a fine gentleman, and a Syracuse Orangeman.

                        RIP.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
