Sabres arena music

Usually I think the Sabres do a better job than most teams with their music selection in the arena, and I rip on other teams for cheesy music (Zombie Nation, anyone?)

So, it's only fair that I do this...

They just played Cotton Eye Joe at HSBC.

Cotton Eye Joe? Are you ****ing kidding me? They used to play that **** at high school football games back in 1996. It was cheesy then and now it's cheesy and old. At least it's not Zombie Nation, but it still sucks ass.

i work in the 200 level so i hear the same **** over and over but they had 2 new songs today...

gwen stefani- (that "if i could escape" song)

I hate Gwen Stefani but almost anything's better than Cotton Eye Joe.

How many people honestly check SabresZone.com? It's boring and plain. People like flashy ****, the layout now is geared towards nerds that get off to simplistic web design and old people that have problems finding things on bright exciting websites.

But anyway, Cotton Eyed Joe is just a song to get the crowd into it.. like it or not.

I can see OP sitting in his seat, *****ing at people who are standing up and dancing.. only applauding if its a 6 goal lead or standing when he has to go release his bladder every 10 minutes

I was at the Canadiens game on Friday and I'm glad me and Toni Lydman have similar taste in music so they played his playlist songs

Does anyone else really hate the new intro song? They play it before each game and actually puts me to sleep. I miss the playoff song from last year...that Better Days song would get me pumped up and at least ready for the game. "I love this town" sucks ass! Truthfully, I still get pumped up for the Rock You like a Hurricane song. That one used to make the arena go insane! They still play it each day, but only a bit.

If possible, I'd give you a "half-Thanks", lol. I really got tired of the Goo's Better Days, but do agree that the Rock you like a Hurricane is awesome. Thanks to Hammer too, awesome video!

It's a song you don't like, it just seems like an odd topic to complain about to me.
