You know, with a comment like this from Evans it makes you wonder just how smart he really is. Are he and JP mudpirates or something? JP sucks and Evans wants him in there. For what?

Smarten up Lee and give the rookie a chance. We aren't going anywhere with JP. Sorry to say!

With JP, Evans always gets his 3 catches for 120 yards and 1 TD on a 60 yard bomb and those are the numbers that get him a big payday.

Well he's only done that in one game this year. Lee isn't the friggin coach so he should STFU and get open and he will make his pay. TE was getting him the ball fairly often after TE's first start. I'm disappointed in Evans' leadership skills.

His piont might be that the offensive coordinater plays not to lose to bad instead of just trying to win.

The Bills offense comes off as being content with mediochrity, which they barely achieve some games. It's annoying and frustrating.

why argue tatonka we have a band of 10 morons who will bash JP at every turn.

playcalling no wrs no TE hurt running back damn JP should be throwing for 500 every week going 95% with passing with 8 TDs

problem is like ive stated many times we are a 500 team but people expect more for some reason they dont see we are like 30 mil under cap with no true vets. yet JP is supposedly working with one stacked team. or TD and a few others would lead u to believe that

Yes and the king of them says to us we cant look at any of it when we are looking at qb because of his vast football knowledge we are not allowed to even bring it up in a post......

Do not worry when Edwards does the same thing...they will be cutting and pasting all the "Excuses" we are using for JP.

Evans is a big play receiver. He naturally favors a big play QB over a dink and dunker.

IMO the issue some see with this argument is that the excuses and JP's performance are the only constants in his career.

Go back two years and look at the box scores of the games from '05...read the recaps. Same type of statistics, same type of mistakes, same type criticism, same type success with the long ball to Evans on the odd occasion. That's the book on his career.

Different GM, different HC, different OC, different RB, different o-line, different TE's etc etc...same results.

Even some of the player comments are very similar. JP always stating "This is a big game for me" or "We have the weapons, as an offense we need to just go out and get it done". Hell, after the KC game one of their defensive players even said (paraphrasing) "We should have won that game three to nothing. We controlled everything the entire game, except for two big plays to Evans."

Like it or not, JP very well may be at a similar point in his career in Buffalo that Holcomb was in '05-We've seen what he can do, that's all he's ever going to be and that's not enough to win football games or take you deep into the playoffs.

As of this weekend's game, JP will have played in as many games for the Bills as any QB since Jim Kelly except for Bledsoe and Flutie, and he's closing in on Doug. RJ got 30. Flutie 39. Collins 28. Holcomb 10. JP will be at 37, and Bledsoe stands at 48. He's had plenty of opportunity, he just hasn't been able to capitalize on it, period.

As far as Evans, his attitude pisses me off a lot more than JP's. At least with JP you get the feeling that he doesn't really care as much about stats as he does wins, and he'll take unimpressive personal stats as long as the team wins. Evans is quickly giving me the impression he cares more about his own numbers than he does team victories.
