Year 2000- We select Erik Flowers , passing on LB Keith Bulluck, DE Darren Howard, S Mike Brown, and LB Ian Gold.

Year 2001- We select Nate Clements, passing on RB Deuce McCalister, WR Chad Johnson, QB Drew Brees, WR Reggie Wayne, and Todd Heap.

Year 2002- We take Mike Williams, we pass on LT Bryant McKinney, LT Levi Jones, DE Dwight Freeney, and Jeremy Shockey.

Year 2003- We take WILLIS MCGAHEE, the fact we took a RB is ******ed, and the fact that we took Mcgahee (with a busted knee) over a healty Larry Johnson is ****ing even more Crazy, and we could have Dallas Clark, and Eric Steinbach.

Year 2004-(A) We take Lee Evans, pass on DT Tommie Harris, DE Will Smith, and DT Vince Wilfork.
(B) We pass on Benjamin Watson, Steven Jackson, and Chris Gamble.

Year 2005- We trade the pick to dallas, avaliable is Matt Jones, Aaron Rodgers, Jason Campbell, Roddy White, and Heath Miller.

Year 2006- We take Donte Whitner and pass on Haloti Ngata, Ernie Simms, Brodrick Bunkley, Matt Leinart, Jay Cutler, Antonio Cromartie, and Santonio Holmes.

Year 2007- We take Marshawn Lynch, avaliable are 3 good corners (which we now see we need) in Revis, Ross, and Hall, Brady Quinn, Greg Olson.

I'm not disagreing with all of these picks but with solid picks on the O, and D-Line it wouldnt matter what Rb/Wr/LB's/CB's we have but it would be nice to have a mulligan!

We didnt even need Larry Johnson because we had Travis Henry that was playing very well at the time. With Mcgahee it was take the best player there istead of what we need.

I think Marshawn was the right pick cuz it allowed us to dump McJackass. Also, I don't think CB is a real problem for us- it's more the way CB's are utilized. You could argue that Clements was a good pick but no doubt the rest of those guys are good, too- and they'd probably still be on our team because they'd be cheaper to keep than a CB.

Still, your general points hold true- our opponents have drafted better than us, and many of them are on better financial ground so they make more moves in FA than we do. It puts us at a severe disadvantage.

If we took LJ, we wouldn't have needed Lynch now. If we would packaged picks in 04 to move up to take Big Ben instead of Losman. If we woulda taken Bryant McKinney we wouldn't have wasted 25 mill on Turnstile. If If If.

It's an unfortunate that we're at where we're at. I'm used to poor drafting by the Bills and Browns. Looks like with Savage the Browns turned the corner, hopefully Levy does the same, it makes the draft so much better when you know your team isn't gonna just eph up and draft a scrub.

Just because majority of those players are household names now doesn't necesarilly mean they could've helped us.

Most of the time, players win or lose because of the coaching staff. They adjust to the scheme of a certain team and sometimes if you have a stupid coach, the key players won't make the key plays (*ahem*)

If someone like Chad Johnson DID come here to play WR, we would still need a decent quarterback to hit him accurately which we haven't had since about 1990.

It is real easy to name players after several years who "would be better" with future knowledge. There is no guarentee that those players would perform as well for Bills for trainers, coaches and fellow players partly determine how players perform. Too many Daft Boys think that that football is something they can determine with watching tv and using fantasy stats.
