IMO he would be a great fit. But, the problem is $$$ would Ralph give it to him being a former Bills lb and all.

Marty got a raw deal in SD....they fired him for nothing.
turns out NE was cheating during that game also...

I would love to see Marty in Buffalo, but it's not going to happen. The Bills' recent run (that came to an end last week) was almost certainly enough for Ralphie to believe in this staff. Besides, some other team will hire him first and turn things around.

Nope I want to see us go new across the board;
HC Norm Chow (Tennessee Titans)
OC Steve Sarkisian (USC)
DC John Tenuta (Georgia Tech)

I'm really surprised that neither Sarkisian or Tenuta have made the jump to the NFL yet. They are probably the mostly highly respected and talented college coaches at their respective positions.

Well Sarkisian did get the offer from OAK last year but turned it down, I dont know that he would to work under his mentor though. We may only be able to keep these guys for 2-3 years before they become hot commodity but with good drafting, combined with the talent we have now, we could be primed for a run in 2-3 years.

Before we discuss new coaches, which is way premature, we might want to get some talent here first.

just so you know.. DJ is not going anywhere.. league wide, he is considered a miracle worker for having the bills even in the hunt with all the injuries we have had.

aside from that.. schot has had 100 years of coaching and never won the big one.. he is known as a playoff choker.. no thanks..

if we did replace the coaches, i would much rather go with an unproven college coach like DB suggested than a proven dud.

i'd pass on Marty S. i realize making the playoffs is a huge step for us. but marty S can't win the big game. he's a more accomplished Jauron. he lost with a stellar team in SD. He's never going to do it.

he gives me the same feeling that JP gives me about his QB abilities.

You guys ***** about how conservative Jauron is, and you want to bring in Shottenheimer? He'd be run out of town by week 6.

Yes - he's worth ditching The Corpse for, but don't think the front office is going do that.

I agree. MArv isn't gonna give up on Dick. I think Marv will live or die with Dick. Question is , will Dick live or die with Fairchild like he did with John Shoop in Chicago.

If Dick stays I'd love to see the Bills take a run at Bill Callahan for OC.

Former Nebraska HC and Raider HC.

He struggled in the head job but was a solid coordinator.

Was it a stellar team, or stellar coaching? The same exact team is 6-5 this year.

Marty has always taken average teams further than they should have gone.

Marty has always taken average teams further than they should have gone.

And this year San Diego is providing definitive proof of that. All this talk that they were the most loaded, talented team in the NFL was hogwash.

It's been well documented that Schott has failed to win the playoffs, but at least he gets his teams there - heck the guy has had ONE losing season in all his years of coaching, that's says a lot about just how good he is.

The Answer would love some Martyball in Buffalo.
