Jesus. I can't stand the guy as a person, but nobody wants to see something like this happen. Hopefully his life isn't in jeopardy.

Actually I was leaning more towards who the Bills play this week.

It was probably Fairchild trying to loosen up the secondary for next week's game.

Nobody on our team can hit their target though...

Nah, Fairchild's too much of a wuss. If we're lucky, he'd get the courage to tap Taylor on the shoulder and meekly ask him to stay on the bench.

If it was Losman the bullet would have doublehopped before it got to it's target.

Just like that Texas Longhorn fan didn't get his balls ripped off on accident by a crazy Sooner fan in a honky tonk in Oklahoma.

Shot in the groin? I can almost garauntee he drilled another mans girl. You just dont take a casual shot to the groin when in the midst of a druge deal or gang violence.. look at fifty. Now HE, is a gangsta.

Get well soon Taylor.

He was and he didn't make the last game trip, so who knows if he would of played. Safe to say he's out now and I wish him the best.

Playing the Skins' this week, Im sure plenty of their fans will find their way to this board. Show them we got some class and we only fight and taunt amongst ourselves (sad, yet true)

We know about personal adversity through Kevin Everett, and this is even worse (unimaginable)

Sean, we forgive you for nearly taking Moorman's ****ing head off at the Pro Bowl and hope you pull through man.

I didn't think he might die, OMG that would be terrible. They need to have a big prayer for him before the game, seriously.

Even Mcgahee has more class than some of you guys here. The dude is fighting for his life and I hear ppl calling him a thug and all that. It was a robbery, the *** who shot him is jealous of taylors money..

Wow, it's really that bad. What a shame.

Doctors are worried the blood loss might affect blood flow to the brain, said Sharpstein, who was at the hospital with Taylor's family and friends.
<!--Two grafs from the post-->In a story posted on The Washington Post's Web site, Sharpstein characterized Taylor as "nonresponsive and unconscious."
"Right now he's clinging to life and we're all praying he makes it," Sharpstein said, according to The Post.

Looks like it was a robbery, this is not Sean's fault:

The shooting came eight days after another invasion was reported at his home. According to police records, someone pried open a front window, rifled through his drawers and left a kitchen knife on a bed.

he's in critical condition due to blood loss.

He got hit in the femoral artery.

I can tell you straight up, that artery gets severed and you'll bleed out in under 5 minutes. that's like getting your jugular cut.

no wonder he's in crit condition.

AP reporting good news:

The 24-year-old player was in the intensive care unit following several hours of surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, although doctors were encouraged late in the day when Taylor responded to simple commands.
"He was responsive to the doctor's request to squeeze his hand and show facial expression, and so the doctors were very happy about that," Redskins vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato said. "They told us to hope for a miracle, and I think the positive news we got was extremely good news."
